Кто создал PWA?
Фактически, PWA не была создана Apple, но Google привел команду Chrome к созданию термина PWA, но до этого эта идея изначально исходила из оригинальной системы iPhone Safari.

В 2007 году на конференции WWDC Джобс объявил «еще кое-что»: как разрабатывать приложения в оригинальном iPhone? Способы использования веб-приложений.

При первоначальном планировании системы iPhone не было App Store, а в первый год выпуска всего устройства iPhone собственный SDK не был доступен. С точки зрения Apple, даже сейчас приложения PWA - это просто «веб-приложения в главном интерфейсе телефона», а его значок называется WebClip (ярлык веб-приложения).
